ALEXANDER RAZUMOVSKY, PHD

Dr. Alexander Razumovsky is internationally recognized as an expert in Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound (TCD) and the Pathophysiology of Cerebral Blood Flow. Alex was the Founding Director of Neurosonology services for Johns Hopkins University, and during his twelve years there he held both professorial and research appointments in the departments of Anesthesiology/Critical Care and Neurology. In 2002 he joined Sentient Medical Systems as NeuroCare Services Director. He has published over 60 scientific articles in peer reviewed journals and has authored book chapters and review articles on the topic. Alex holds a doctorate in Neurophysiology from the Institute of Higher Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology, USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow and a Master’s in Biophysics from Tbilisi State University.
